River rock bed creation, yard grading, burying of downspouts
After moving into a new house in December, we noticed that there was a significant standing water issue whenever we got any measurable rainfall. This made it so we could not let our dog run in the backyard and effectively eliminated 1/3 of the yard from use. We had two landscape contractors give us quotes on how to alleviate the issue and Chris Hall came in at less than half of the other company. Horizon graded the back of the yard to eliminate the low spots, buried our three downspouts on the back of the house to stop flooding and erosion of the yard, and created a new bed out of River Jack stone and shade and water loving perennials, which also serves as the end point for the buried downspouts. We were thrilled with the communication and work performed. The guys who did the grading and installation were courteous and kept the area clean and went above expectations. We’ll certainly use Horizon for any future needs.
