This Bolton Hill resident has so much potential for their front courtyard.  In their last-ditch attempt to salvage something from this space, they called Horizon.  Frustrated by the fact that the rodents of Baltimore City now owned more of their courtyard than they did, the owners enlisted Horizon to create a rodent-resistant area they could call their own.

Horizon replaced the badly deteriorated deck landing and steps.  We installed a new paver patio all the way to the foundation to remove burrowing areas underneath.  We created a solid, sturdy area for the trash cans to be tucked away out of sight to both human and rodent.  After adding an abundance of low voltage landscape lighting to provide a safer entry into the courtyard at night, the cover of darkness was taken away, thereby preventing access to all unwanted visitors.

Horizon also created an area for the homeowners’ dog to have his own space in the yard.  In addition to creating a dedicated place for Fido’s use, the sitting wall was installed to create more entertaining space.
